I`d get it fixed, you`ll know exactly what you`ve got when it comes back, what has Roy suggested to do with it? You know it`s in safe hands down in Arbroath.

Roy thinks i would be better fixing it even though he did suggest putting in another engine, again though he said that if i keep this one at least then i know the engines history. I'm going with the repair to be honest i can only afford to pay something with my credit card as the money i have at the moment is to help me with my new flat

Would be a good choice stoney, might b a bit slower in a straight line but they handle soooo much better!

ive come to the conclusion that i get it sorted and then when my insurance is up in 8 months ill decide what im doing with it then.

in 8 months time if im gettin on ok at my job then ill see how the funds are any maybe start doing more to engine, i dont know but im not putting an older engine back in

..... ok.... still false economy then if your thinking of TB's etc.

TB's are near on pointless with std cams, valve springs etc...

maybe not pointless, but cert gay

i can afford to sort this engine back to its past state just not to add the uprated parts i need at the moment. On a lighter note if you end up going to crail or something soon then keep an eye out for a nova saloon in brown looks standard apart from cavvie gsi wheels and same cage as me ........... 16v
