i am considering painting a few of my underbonnet powdercoated goodies as the powdercoat is beginning to flake, and i dont want them to be red anymore

is it possible? and what will i need to do?

You need to get them stripped with acid... Then you can paint them, or I guess you could primer them up with plastic primer then paint as normal...

Though how have you managed to chip powercoated stuff? It's bomb proof

old lexmaul strutbrace.... been on and off joffs car a few times, on and off brosters car a few times and on and off mine more than once

might be painted, but i was told it was powdercoated

i'll just sand it down and hope.....

If it sands off easily then it will be paint.... Powder coating is hell to get off...

give it to me lol we have paint stripper at work which removes powder coating as all our stuff is p-coated
