are english folk blinkered into believing their league is more competitive at the top than the spl?

in the past decade man u have won the league 6 times arsenal 3 and the only reason chelsea won it last year is because of abramovich so its just exactly the same

wouldnt be so sure, by all accounts half the players werent even his buys and the biggest thing in their favour is that celtic aren't as good as they were and rangers are even worse

Could argue that they have only been 'good' since his arrival?

Before anyone bangs on about them both playing English teams and wining, they are one off derby games in which they have a chance to prove themselfs, English teams have nothing to gain in these type of games, where as everyone gets all excited about Rangers/Celtic beating an English team.

.

are we talking about champions league / uefa cup "derby games" m8, last time i checked celtic knocked blackburn and liverpool out of the uefa cup on way to final... and i'm a rangers fan

its a shame how most of the big scottish teams dont exactly have scottish players do they.

i prefer rangers, purely because of my upbringing, and my town has the mother lodge of scotland

ps, couldnt give a toss about football

you couldnt give a toss about football yet you say you preffer ranger because your town has a lodge. You also forgot your king billy ornaments.

Aye very good martin. If you went to the lodge you would be told it isnt about religion. The same as being a rangers supporter doesnt mean you have to be a proddy. My family are of catholic background yet my dads side all support rangers. and some of them are in the lodge. Its simple minded people like you who cause most of the hassle and conflict.

And yes both teams do have scottish players. Also if you look at there reserve teams and all the lower junior teams you would see that the majority are scottish. Well i can only talk for the Celtic side but id expect rangers were the same.

i said i prefer rangers, i didnt say i supported them.

and i meant done have many scottish players, not none at all , as in all the big international players you get.

if i went into a pub in kilwinning and got asked what team i supported and i said celtic i'd probably get my head kicked in, hence rangers, no other reason.
