I have the following coloured wires

Black/Yellow

Red

Red
Orange

Red/Green

Blaack

White/Green

I am trying to wire up a TV so need a 12v power supply but then i wire it black to balck and then the yellow up i get nothing i tried both reds as well do i need to comine a coupple of them to get it to work

The Yellow and Black on mine is the earth and the live for the actual input.
Red is live
Black is Earth

On thinking about it is this a TV headunit or just a screen?

Solved this morning, the wires on the screen where the wrong way round i had to wire red to black and black to red.
