Selling my car, had a few offers for around £2k for it and gettin a loan out, should be able to afford up to about £7k, want a brand new car (know with corsas you get the offer of free insurance etc), got 1.0 at the minute, want something with slightly more power but still keep the insurance down. Suggestions of what to get? Corsa C, fiesta, etc? What are corsa C's like to drive compared to the B? etc etc

Lower spec Fords are rubbish, normally don't have central locking or electric windows and you get fcuk all for your money.

Stick with Vaux

Corsa - go for a 1.4 16v Corsa C if you want that... 1.8 probably too much on insurance and 1.2 etc you'll get bored of.

hmm does it have to be completely Brand new? 7k won't get you that much brand new. Can't you get something almost new i.e. say under 10k miles. Should save you a couple of grand.

But every girl and their sister has a Clio. Don't see many girls in Corsa C's, mostly Ka's and Clios

Ahh another person who also sees VW's the way I do.

My sister has owned her fair share in the past, Mk2 Golf, Mk3 Golf, Mk4 Golf, all GTi's and a new shape Beetle and they were all horrendous, little niggly things going wrong that the dealerships could'nt fix or as she said "were'nt intrested" in fixing.

In the end she got a new Megane and its the best car she has owned.
