well a corsa b is heavier than a cavalier so i reckon that a saxo or pug wouldnt have a problem being lighter, if u dont believe me check out the stats in totall vauxhall

lets be honest mate it wont keep up with a vts if the gsi is standard, my 1.6 was tuned to 140bhp and it was only just level with them, it was only when i sripped it that it gave me the edge

Looks like i started a good debate off here....................

I appriciate what people r sayin when they say the vaux engine is really old & that saxo's/106's have a lighter chassis & shell.

Ive owned a 106 and a citroen previously and people are right to say that they are full of cheapy plastic shite that rattles and falls apart.....
Personally wouldn't ever get another one.

The stats werent there to offend people just to see what other people thought of the performance again other 1600's thats all.

Any one else???????

i'm sorry, i also have to intervene, there is no way that you would keep up with even the 120 Bhp version...must have been a problem with his or somthing, wasn't running right?

mine beats vts up till 80mph then i get overtaken!! l
my gsi is totaly standard except for a drilled airbox and irmscher exhaust
the vts has a full s/s exhaust with decat and we were racing from 0mph on the motorway in a straightline, vts was sooo much faster on top-end, left me for dead after 80mph!
