Right things are coming along nicely, the chassis has been polished up and all welding slag removed, front suspension is taking shape!
We stripped a seirra of everything engine box, diff, wheels, hubs, brakes, interior in 4 hours yesterday

over the last week the honda s2000 engine and box has been put in, and were going to build the working rolling chassis, wheels, brakes, diff etc then it will go to dax for the exhaust, then she can be panlelled up.
Taken apart then powercoated everything that can be done, and then panelled up the last time and re fit everything!

We do this so we weld on all brackets etc we need before its painted otherwise would have to ground the paint off!

as you can see we have a fia approoved roll bar, which strengthens the chassis and protects us,

300 bhp at 10k rpm will sound rather nice through some throttle bodies

my brother in laws mate has a tiger kit car with c20xe on tbs in it, thats quick, but a s2k engined dax will be mental

nah there nice cars we test drove about 10 different ones, dads built
ultima, westfield, sylva, tiger, stuart taylor!

But the dax is a hybrid so lots of thinking is to be done

brad... looks really nice mate coming along nicely mate i like the progress pics.... u got any colours in mind?

looks complex how u getting time to do it with uni .etc? or is it just a winter weekend/holiday thing i really fancy something like this just funds is an issue

Single Seater was ace btw they took the rev limit off and there was only 3 of us doing it

as dad is a clean freak in the garage, everything is organised, hes built a few cars to has to have it mint in there!


dna - this is uni spare time dads doing most of it during weeks but im choosing all the parts, colours, wheels, battery, dash, tb's, management!!
