what do i need to change? is the loom the same? fuel pump? gearbox? ecu? transponderchip? any help would be greatly appriciated cheers

u can use the same
gearbox
loom

some say u can use the same ecu

i changed my ecu, transponder, and chip

i put a x16xel in my sri instead of a x14xe

to play it safe also replace the loom

allready discovered 3 types of looms on the x16xe engines so using the 14xe loom is like a game of roulette

agree. mainly all the same but with different shaped plugs on the ecu end.

if you get a later spec 1.4 16v ecu it can be used on the 1.6 16v. send me the 4 letter code (on the sticker of the ecu) and ill tell you if its compatible
