The roof above my flat has a hole in it due to it being a V shape arther than pitched... The cieling has collapsed and everything is soaking wet...  It rained a bit yesterday to say the least....

I have pics of the damage... It;s fairly impressive, in 30 mins we filled a whole rubbish bin with water trying to save the place, but it overflowed and went everywhere... Water came through the light fittings into my bathroom too... But that was after the fire alarms went off and the whole complex was evacuated...
My camera is in my room though and we can't get onto our floor for a while. I think it will be for a week....
It is quite funny actually, last night we were laughing about it, this morning was a little stressfull evaluating the damage and now its just an annoyance...

Compensation time
One of the halls in Cov had a problem and couldnt let the students back in, so they all ended up being put up in 4 star hotels (4 star in cov is 2 star everywhere else mind...)

Yea, we should get compensation, the halls I am staying in cost nearly twice as much as the others because they are a lot nicer with en suit and shit... We have been put up in the spare rooms on the lowrise building, which is really crap. Though we had a pants party last night, where we all wore our pants on the outside of our clothes and drank Vodak

atleast it didnt burn down!
At central Lancs where my gf is at one of her mates halls burnt down, everyone lost everything! It ended up being down to some bloke smoking when pissed and dropped it!
