Alright peoples 
I was a young'n once and was bought a petrol go-kart for christmas some good few years ago now, I had a ride about in it a few times but then it remained in my garage since and has never started, Was thinking of selling it but always wanted to know about engines, how they worked and wanted to understand them, never had much of a father figure to help out with that u see,
I learn things by taking them apart and putting them back together, studying the mechanicals as i go, learning, as it fits together again. (but dont we all), its not worked since its been kept up in a garage where the damp has got to it but not really had a proper look at it
Anyway my point is, rather than selling it, do you think it would be a crafty Idea for me to take this engine apart and rebuild it. see if i can bring some life back into the girl and maybe i can have some fun on that  , im told it does 30 odd mph, which could be quite fun 
if anyone has any advice for me that would be cool, else ill have to buy a cheap escort or something and take it apart!
