take ur own clip board with you full of questions and make them answer your questions before you will answer theres. or just say everything that they say.

They are doing them round here... you dont have to stop (well you do but the police arent gonna chase after you i shouldnt think!) but u deffo dont have to talk to them... jus leave ur windows up as said previously and look straight ahead!

i did think about kicking up a fuss if i leave earlier for work, but my tax expired on the 30th .... and my cars being declarred SORN on the 7th so i dont want to get fined for driving my car with no tax

BTW - I dont usually break the law i just didnt see the point in re taxing my car for another 7 days worth of driving

Well if the police stop u they will give u 7 days to produce the tax disc so therefore u shouldnt be fined on the spot

Its not considered a gap in licence until after 14 days (thats where the period of grace thing comes from) however if you are caught using the car on the road without tax then you can be fined
