spent ages at brosters yesterday tring to fit some 140mph clocks to his car, and generally tidying it up

then we started on my car, decided to fit his old ecu to my car to see if it cleared up my lexmaul induced flatspot

and oh boy, it has

car pulls all the way through the revs, right up to 7200rpm, and goes like buggery, as broster will agree i'm sure

i never thought i'd see the time i scared mark shitless in my car, but yesterday i managed it by doing 50 round a sliproad near his house with no loss of grip whatsoever

my car handles so unbelievably well, and now it goes a bit better too, thanks to Teddy for giving james mcbride my number, as i can now sort out getting my 1.6 collected and thrown in

oh, and i managed to get round to trying the white mo's i got hold of, and they clear the V6 calipers, which is mucho coolio

c4 wlk : old wheels are staying, white MO's are for track abuse only

matt h : after looking at brosters coilovers and experiencing the stiffness of the ride in his car, i'm glad i got the konis, and broster has a set too now, just need fitting

the difference it has made is amazing, considering it was mapped for my 1.6.... see how it works with your 1.6 when its in dude! looking forward to fitting my koni's, my avo coilovers are just way to hard for the road use, b roads are pointless to drive down and its not low eather!
the way yours handles is unbeliveable compared to mine hope mine is as good when i get my koni's on, may fit them tomorrow if i get a chance, need to purchase some new rubbers and spring seats tho

same ecu

brosters was mapped for 1.6, cams and headwork, plus all my bits

but it runs fine on mine as its semi-self learning, so the fuelling is correcting itself for my spec

only thing which has changed really is rev limit and lack of mid range flat spot
