ive kept quite about the whole issue but after speaking to a few people i feel a few things need to be said,

I travelled down from manchester to near southampton with the cash for this car as we agreed what i thought was a good deal, byron gave me his word the car other than a few agreed probs with speedo and a few other minor touches the car was immaculate exterior wise at least .... this isnt the case comparing it to the car i had only sold a few hours previous i was gutted to say the least but was still willing to go ahead the with deal, until we got to the petrol station and tried filling the car up only for the fuel to come pouring out.
so i was stuck down there and ended up having to get a hotel room a wasted trip which cost me £170

then i even had to ask for half the money i had just put in the car

a few points people should know these pictures of this car do it too much justice, the paint work is IMO shoddy where the rubber has been put back in there bits of paint flakes of around the windows, ther vent in bonnet poor work, smooth boot big dint or something in that porbably a crack ! also where the number plate light has been smoothed in rear bumper, the worst bit of bodywork i think i have ever seen. the gear box sounded aweful from outside the car, struggles getting in reverse.... i neednt go on.

But i wasted alot of money in going to buy this car, so thought others should be warned.

Regards
David

mate i think your eather going to have to brake it of post pics of the things dave has said as future buyers wil be put off.
something big to dave maybe somthing small to somone else

also would braking it cover the money
1700 engine (everything box red pipes intercooler etc etc)
350 wheels
400 brake
200 light
300 gsi kit
300 seats
500 reg plate
150 boot lid

thats £3850 mate

getting to the 4k mate
but its hassle of braking it.

David,

I was honest about the car, everything you asked I gave honest answers.
Anyone that knows me, knows Im not out to pull a fast one.

Anyway - its done now isnt it...dont be bitter

I would entertain offers around the £4350 mark.

David dont you think you should have looked at the car before you sold the old one? In fact dont you think you should have seen the car first before agreeing to buy it?

Byron is one of the nicest, well liked, biggest vaux enthuisiast I have come across and many will agree with me. Yes you may have found fault with the car, yes it may not have been what you hoped but there is no need to imply that Byron was trying to pull a fast one on you. He is simply not like that in shape or form.

Maybe you are being picky because YOU lost out on £170 due to YOUR own fault not Byrons.
