does anybody know if this can be done and how much trouble will it be?
how much will it cost roughly and what mounts could i use or would i need to get sum custom made up?

are there any tuning parts available for the 1.8 engine you get in them? surely it'd be easier to stick one of them in and find 25bhp from somewhere to make roughly same power.

will be very difficult, has been done before, but its a case of having multiple looms, since the newer vauxhalls use fly-by-wire throttle controls IIRC. maybe look at the host of newer vauxhall engines, the 2.2 is meant to be a cracker.
the 1.8 unit is great for freeing a few more HP, a new inlet,exhaust etc etc should see the far side of 145

you gotta have 2 ecu's n all or something. wasnt there a bloke on here put an let into a corsa c? worth a search.
personally though, as cybermonkey says, id look into a newer engine, would suit the car more and look up to date. the xe's and let's are dated looking and theres more and more tuning bits appearing for the newer engines
