would 50mm individual throttle bodies be to big for a 16xe engine? or a 20xe engine?

want a winter project, and looking at building up another TB'd engine as i miss mine already.

40mm TB's are good for 220BHP.

woudl say 50's are even a little large on a 20XE really, more suited to a 2.4 kinda sized engine, i mean they would work and all, but be a little large you'd loose mid range as a result.
