Just remembered I gotta go police station today to show them ive taken my black plates off... they told me i needed to get a stamp from a garage or something to prove I've done it?

Only thing Is i forgot to get the stamp and dont have time now as at work...

What will they say if I don't get this stamp? As they can check teh car over for themselves.

needs to be a garage, and it costs ya... if they look at your car, they WILL find something else

yeah i know they will... no money, was suppose to get paid today but nothing came through.

So you think they'l take a look round the whole car? Why wont they just check the plates are back to how they should?

Most of the time coppers dont usually file details of procedures as too much paper work for them and not really worth it tbh, did they just ask you to go to an MOT station for them to stamp it yeh?

I would try without drive down in the car and tell em to suck it if they disagree to it not being stamped when they can see for themselves its done

yeh thats what im going to do... just go down there, tell them ive changed the plates over.. tehy;ll look and hopefully thats it.. but theres a space on teh producer for the MOT stamp and obviously its empty

me and a mate got one on the same night, i corrected the problem and paid a local garage on my way to the cop shop £2 and they stamped it. My mate took the risk of not getting it stamped and they told him to get it done and bring it back stamped
