My mates Corsa C 1.2 sxi has a problem with his petrol gauge, when he turns it off it goes to the bottom reading hwoever when he turns it on it just goes to full and stays there until he turns it off again.

What could this be? fuses or wiring?

Check the sender to see for loose wires or a broken cable etc
