Is there a way to make a cells depth unlimited so that people can keep adding data without manually resizing the cell?

If I get an answer by tomorrow, brownie points off the boss

Cheers

I think the only thing you can really do is make an entry not change with the size of the cell. other than that i dont know of anything to be able to automatically change the depth.

Why not merge the entire column then turn on shrink and text wrap?

Well basically the excel sheet is a draft for a TV guide entry, with the channels in columns, time in rows.

The draft will be emailed forward to the editing team who will edit the stuff at last minute if need be, then send it to the final stage where someone enters the info into quark or some shit like that.

Dno if that makes sense, but it means that the columns cant be merged.

Ok then, turn on wrap text, then go to the top bar and click format > row then select autofit
