Germans were 25 years in front of the Western Allies in terms of rocket and jet fighter capabilitys.
The only reason we ever made it to the moon was because of there genuis.
If Germany had won WW2 we would be living on Mars by now.

no oliver you probably wouldnt have been born
besides, it was a german and a british scientist who invented the jet engine, Hans von Ohain and Sir Frank Whittle.
Here is the Gloster Pioneer, it used Whittles W1 engine, and first flew in May 1941

this is the Heinkel HE178, which was the first german jet aircraft, and flew in August 1939, just 2 years prior to the Gloster Pioneer.

So Oliver, both the British and the Germans were pretty much at equal stages for jet aircraft technology.

Frank Whittle yes was a god, but please tell me if the Allies had anything as close to the first ICBM the A4 rocket, for which a variation was used in putting America's first satalite into orbit.

when it came to unmanned rockets, the germans were certainly way ahead in the 30's and 40's. the technology behind the A4 motor was pretty much mind-boggling for the allies. its only let down was the mis-use of the gas turbine driven fuel pumps.
in other words, Wernher von Braun = Legend

Yes baby. If I won the lottery I would commission someone to rebuild a ME262 and have it parked in my driveway with weapons armed.
