good and cheap dont oftern go together..

and in this case that stays true..

it really depends on what you want out of your ICE mate.. if its just to tinker around and make pretty noices at cruises then go ahead...

but seriously get your cash together and save up some money

then get some good enrty level Pioneer, AudioBahn, JL W0..

all these brands offering 12" 600watt subs for £40 are never gonna be as good as something that costs a little more..

have a look at www.caraudiodirect.com their prices are very good

mutant subs have a tendancy to melt so i hear, nasty and cheap leave well alone.

IMO any sub costing under £50 or so is going to be crap the materials they have to use to make a sub for that and still make profit are gonna be the reject stuff lol.

Your pay for what u get chap..........the only exeption ive heard is the componant mutan speaker were rated quite well for the £
