rite corsa goes later, need a RELIABLE car for uni, will be doing quite a few miles everyday and now have no job

Been thinking about;
1. a smart car, good fun, very cheap to run and would be new or nearly new; but is a bit gay
2. Corsa sport 1.6; seen one i really like at a good price and would be a lot more reliable and cheaper to run than the 2ltr.
3. BMW 318is coupe, seen a few with full M3 kit, leather, nice wheels etc and have loved both my beemers

Or any other suggestions

2. Corsa sport 1.6; seen one i really like at a good price and would be a lot more reliable and cheaper to run than the 2ltr. This makes sense. Cheap to maintain, good runner.
3. BMW 318is coupe, seen a few with full M3 kit, leather, nice wheels etc and have loved both my beemers. Think what happened last time, expensive repair bills. Bmw are not for me imo.

Or any other suggestions

Smart car too small
Corsa seems ok, not sure on reliability
BMW ugly and IMO pointless with anything less than a 2.5 litre

If your doing alot of miles I'd buy a diesel!
