Is the 1.8 engine a big block engine?

I was wondering about how things work in C's engine conversion wise... It seems that C's go quite cheaply when they have minor crash damge, particuly the older ones...

Putting it in isn't hard, even getting it running OK isn't (after market management)

But getting everything to work and no lights on the dashboard with the air-con is a bitchhhhhhhh! LOL

Not bothered about how much power the 1.8 engine has... The main issue would be getting the dash to work properly I guess... And I guess putting in a C20XE or LET would be a lot easier than using a more modern version... Could be an interesting project. Oh and air con? Whats that for
