Its not a roof rack

Its the top box for my dads roof rack. Its just sat on there at the moment

Its a 1.6 8v Driver as far as I know

Bodywork wise it seems fine. Few little rust patches but nothing major

thats it out of the garage before the engine died

bodywork is spotless - 4 tiiiiiny little bubbles on the whole of the shell. under the carpets is tidy too. paint is good although the big bumpers were aftermarket and the paint job on them isn't the best. good colourmatch tho. interior is perfect - not even a thread pulled on the seats. and no one has ever smoked in there so the roof lining is clean too.

spec wise it's a 1988 1.6 8v driver w/ GTI 'box & interior and has 102000 on the clock - nothing for a car of that year. it's been garaged for 3 1/2 out of the last 5 yrs.

i'd just put a brand new rad, fan, coolant pipes and new battery on it prior to the engine deciding it wasn't gonna play ball anymore. all it needed was the brake flexis doing for MOT. oh and the fog light - 20 min job to wire a new loom in to sort that. full exhaust system done less than 2000 miles and i put new driveshafts on and did the cam belt 3000 miles ago.
all in all its a solid little motor when you get it running.
