If you need to fill up, then you fill up, so does the fact that there will be protests mean that people suddenly don't need to fill up?

My views are, it's not panic buying as such, it's just people preparing for a problem in good time, I think the majority aren't worried, they're just trying to show initiative.

I have about 1/4 tank soon to be FA tomorrow - my Astra has the fuel economy of a V12 at the moment!

exactly!

Plus, if people took time to read what the protesters had said before running to get their keys and fill the petrol tanks up, they said that they would allow tankers out of the suppliers unlike last time, but will have a presence there to get their point across.

It will only be if the Govt. dont act after this protest that they will begin to take action that really effects everyone out there!

It's annoying. I go to the petrol station to buy Doritos for Steve. Not only have people panic bought all the diesel from the fuel station so there are a lot of people sitting there scratching thier heads no knowing what to do, but there is a que to get into the place because everyone is panic buying all the petrol too. When I get in everyone has panic bought all the coke and water so I have to get Irn Bru, then I see all the blue flavoured Doritos have been panic bought too

Then I walk out laughing because I have over half a tank left on my car and I get about 500 miles range on a full tank... Maybe I'll go top up tomorrow night after cards.
