Stopped off at the mcdonalds on my way home with the missus just to get 2 mcflurrys, and there was a Nissan Navara 4x4 in front of me at the window where you collect your food and a car behind me at pay window. me and the car behind both received our food but couldn't get out as i had to go close up behind the 4x4 so he could get to the window behind, then there were cars behind the guy behind me. Must have been sitting there for a good 10 minutes, with me indicating to come out, and the guy in the 4x4 just sitting there and wouldnt pull forward to let us out. i flash my headlights a few times to no avail and then sit there even longer. i didnt want to get out as im a small guy and wouldnt like my chances if things got nasty. in the end the car behind reversed a few inches, so then i could do a 10 point turn to get out from behind him.
great i finally get out, drive off and glance at the driver who doesnt seem too happy, so i leave and he starts to follow me, whilst doing hand gestures out the window. i tried to get away from him, turning down different roads and driving fast but he just kept coming really close sitting on my back bumper and i thought he was going to barge me off the road, tried phoning the police but had no fone range until after a few miles he gave up. tried to catch up with him to get his full numberplate but didnt manage too, now im thinking he might report me to the police and make up something, as he must have had my reg plate as he was sitting on my back bumper. Im not sure whether to report him first with a partial reg just in case to protect my own back and so they hopefully catch him and do something about it. not sure what to do
sorry about the essay

p.s. I wouldn't worry about it. He was probably just having a shit day and decided to take his rage out at someone... Doubt he'll go to the police and say you were doing something.,

Tom, happened to us in cardiff with a land rover 4x4 type thingy not so long ago
We weren't even sure they were following us untill we turned into the bit where they are building the waterside flats and they followed us down there
My advice, drive to a public place where there will be lots of people, if they still follow you get as many details as can, description, reg, car etc etc
Sounds like they are people who get kicks from doing it so if it happens again, report it and someone else probably will if they keep doing it

Yes its always handy to have some kind of self defence object in your car. Failing that, a decent engine/suspension can help with the getaway Id like to see a 4x4 stay with me round a few twisties
