i have got a clifford alarm fitted to my corsa but because i live on a busy road the vibration of the cars sets the alarm off is there anyway of turning the vibration sensor off?

you mean a proximity sensor, or the actual alarm?

there will be a box behind the glove box with a knob on it

knock it gently and it flashes red, turn the knob, and knock it the same untill the red light does not flash

this is the sensitivity of the sensor (on most models)

it is a 300 i think itd not the proximity sensor its the vibration/tilt i think

If you go on the clifford website you can dowload the manual from any model, In there it will tell you how to disable the proximity sensor. I had to do this on my Concept 60 as cars kept setting the alarm off!

sly, i cant find a way of diabling the proximity sensor on my 600. It buzzes like mad all day and night, really wanna turn it off.

ican turn the proximity sensor easily but it makes no difference on the buzzin not even the web site tells you how to do it

yeah im gonna get gap security back out to fit a new alarm, this one has had nothing but problems. I got what is known as radio lock out the other day, something interfering with signal like police radios etc, so i couldnt disarm the fucking car or arm it

Always said that Toad were better alarm systems, not as fancy but much more reliable, I know it's no help but there you go.
