now then got someone who is offering to give me a 2 litre turbo and the intercooler for free, all i need to get is all the fittings and loom.
however, heard loads of people slagging off the engine with numerous problems.
so simple question is, is it worth it??

For free, yes. Spend the extra grand you would have spent buying the engine re-conditioning it. Otherwise bin it because it will be a worthless piece of crap.

i have a LET.. when they work its all

Lots of new parts and pu them on. Send the turbo off and get a reconned one.

it means taking it to an engine specialist..v-tuning.co.uk are good and saying re-condition this engine. you give them money and a few weeks later you go back they have a brand new(kinda) engine for
