my bird last year got 6 points for sitting on a moped whilst she wasnt insured on it and at the time was learning to drive so had a provisional. she has been thinking ever since that shes banned from driving cos of getting 6points within 2yrs.
but i thought that seen as she is still on a provisional she can still learn as normal but when she passes her test she'l have 6 points on her license and probably have to pay more on insurance.
does anybody know ?

she's fine... those 6 points will just mean she starts with 6 points... and as they were before she passed they don't mean she'll automatically have to re do the test

It also means she will struggle to get 3rd party insurance on a disability carriage

cheers, jst as i thought then. so if she gets 3 points or whatever in her first 2 yrs of driving shel loose her license ye?

it'd still take 6 to make her have to re-take, also would total 12 which is a ban anyway
