Specifically nokia 6680, i tried connecting my GPS bluetooth unit to the phone but whenever i switch the unit on, the phone doesnt display that it is connected to the GPS. Bear in mind that i havent got Tomtom mobile installed yet, but i would have thought that the GPS unit would still connect.

HELP!!!!!

i've got tomtom mobile on my orange spv c500.

follow the intructions in the manual. i had to install tomtom first and then it would automatically connect to the gps unit.

mines a windows based smartphone though. not sure if the installation on nokia would be the same.

I got it all installed now, i had tomtom 5 on PDA and it wasnt as accurate as tomtom mobile 5, depends on the GPS receiver you get and how many channels it has. best to get something with 16 channels. I paid £30 for the tomtom software with british maps, canary islands, belgium, france, italy, scandanavia and germany on a 256mb dv mmc card for nokia and £50 for the GPS receiver. Darn sight cheaper than if you were to buy tomtom go's and pda's

them sell em on ebay or if you can just download them if you already have a memory card (not legal by the way as it costs something stupid if you did it all legit)
