As the title says, has anyone heard of this being done and if so does it make much of a difference?

Any help would be great?

Thanks Owen

It's cheap, find somone who has a tuned XE and buy thier cam shaft(s) off of them for fuck all. Do it Jambo! Though you'll need a vernier pully to do it properly.

Dont worry about verniers, just elongate the standard pully to give a half tooth position.

Gives better top end of rev range performance.
