how often do u lot replace the CV joints or wheel bearings??? how long does each one of these lasts on ur car??

never changed a wheel bearing and broke 2 cv joints in 7 yrs

had the car 8 months and no cv's yet.............a cv boot replaced last week..

rear wheel bearings came up in mot but adjustment should be fine..

130miles and CV shaft and wheel bearing Which also caused damage to disk and tyre

^^ honestly?

what noise does the CV make when its going?? just replaced wheel bearings, does it make a clanck or squelling noise?

Mine only went mate cos the bearing collapsed and caused the wheel to labour the shaft which snapped If i had replaced it straight away i could have saved mucho £££'s

rear n/s bearing replaced, rear o/s bearing adjusted
front bearings were replaced when the engine went in about a year ago, god knows how old the cv's are.

When you turn and the bad CV is on the outside, then accelerate with the wheels still turned it will click loud....

It is running about 300bhp though, think a normal XE should be far better..

I replaced all the CVs and boots before fitting to the car.
