if your going to strip it, do it properly.

1- dont get recliners
2- dont get leather seats
3- dont build new floor

as above, want recliners for comfort, leather for luxury and a nice false floor to make it all tidy, also hide a wee tool box built in to the floor

Thats my old Corsa, the cage was a Fearless cage made by Brett warburton (actually for a Nova but it fitted a treat) and the rear strut brace I made myself!

Not sure who does thick polished cages like that these days tho, I know Ive seen them in other cars tho!!!

1) Got a piece of aluminium bar (originally a piece of scaffolding from a tower)
2) Cut it to size
3) Polished it for about 6 hours with wire wool and metal polish
4) Cut two flat pieces of aluminium for the end plates
5) Got someone to weld the end plates on
6) Put brace in situ between the two suspension turrets
7) Used a leather hammer to bend the end plates to the shape of the turrets
8) Drilled 4 holes (two in each end plate) straight through the car so it comes out either side of the rear shocks
9) Bolted it in place using stainless bolts!!

Hope that helps matey!!!

Oh, forgot to add!!!

Where you drill the holes through your car makes sure you get loads of paint on and/or loads of underbody seal!!

Hahaha!!!

How did you guess!!!

Thats one thing I loved about the Corsa..........I didnt mind cutting it up!!! 99% of the time I got away with it and it came out ok! The other 1% was dodgy welding, expanding foam and "new bits of bodykit"

I reckon I cut about 100kgs off that corsa, just a shame I had to weld 200kgs back on to fill the gaps!!
