My gf has already got ntl bb on her current desk top, she has just got a new lappy and when she connects the modem to the new comp it says it cannot find the drivers for the modem... when she trys the ntl disc it wants to set up a new account but the modem has already been set up so dont wanna do that, not sure where to go from here any help welcome

Download drivers for the modem separately, then when they are installed just use her existing username/password in Network and Dial-up Connections.

Mine used to that, i had to uninstall and then install it again

Look on the modem see what type it is, have a search about, download them, put them on a memory stick or something, write a CD if you're stuck, put that in lappa, install, and you'll normally be prompted to put in username/pass as part of install routine. If you're not, add connection manually.
