Oops, thought that all the Cavs and Callys with independent suspension had the same floorpan, it says something about in the Haynes manual I think...

Thats the problem, not all cavs and Callys have IRS . That said finding a stripped cav/cally turbo shouldnt be too hard if you search places like migweb .

all callys do, all cav 16v's do although its not the same floor pan as a 4x4

just get a cav, cut the body off, buy a few novas, and make the panels fit... much easier, might look a bit funny though

if i shove the engine in the boot, i'll still need to then get the front wheels driving

IvIarkgraham - i aint got big enough elastic bands

robmarriott - might look abit strange mate

muppetsport - well judging how long it took to do my xe, which i didnt evan complete, i think doing all this to a nova is gonna take a few years

4x4 is more of a challenge though... Wouldn't mind giving it a go when I get a bit better at welding.
