The job i'm doing on Monday is Personal Protection. It's not double time, flat rate, but still can't turn down £1140 just to look after someone.

Word of mouth and recommendations mainly, i do the majority of protection work for one company but i do get other people/companies contacting me etc.
I'm SIA badged yeah, i won't do a door for under £15/hr now - i find it insulting that people still pay £8-£10/hr seeing as we have to pay hundreds for our licence.

My badge took about 8 weeks to come which wasn't bad as the SIA said it'd take between 6-8 weeks.

i thought there was a law that said you have to have at least 8 Hours between shifts or somethin?

Lots of rules get union involved
they cant make you work it but if you agree or offer to do it then u dont have a leg to stand on IF your still stood up after 19 hours
Will you be covered in the event of an accident in your work place !
