Not sure whether i'm pleased about the results or not...its about what i expected...but secretely i guess i wanted more!

So heres the graphs.....firstly the one i did about 6 months ago, then the one i did today:

Standard X16XE - The first run actually came out at 100 Bhp but then he lost the data...!

Modified X16XE - dbilas inlet, sebring exhaust system from cat back.

some people reckon it may be under-reading?? what do you think?...

Forget the figures, just remember you have a 25% max power increase and 11% max torque increase! And it's not top endy either. Nice one.

even if it is under / over reading, you have used the same RR, and providing one day was not 30degrees and the other 5degrees in Temp, you have a good comparison!

And to follow up about my post on 'which would give better performance' I tried the 1st run with the standard airbox and filter in and it came out at this....

Then I removed the airbox completely so there was literally just the open throttle body...and got the 123 Bhp run

The guy couldn't believe it had released 6 Bhp just from that!

I think there good results,
cries for a unichip for the new owner but good figure that!

yes any filter you use will obv not help, but we cant all run round with no filter, open air induction kits suffer from heat soak, if you can stop this i.e a viper etc then you are onto a winner

Yea, it definately would need a re-map, the max power was at max rpm so a raised rev limiter would probably see more power alone...

Fantastic torque curve. Nice and progressive power curve too, i imagine that feels pretty quick on the road.

I wouldn't be too bothered about the bhp as long as it feels quick on the road, thats what matters

Conversion should be starting either the end of this week or next week...depending on when parts arrive!
