Is it the throttle sticking or is it the dreaded ICV?

got no idea but its really starting to annoy me now, before it was like just over 1k now its sitting at more 2-3k (near enough)

slow to drop the revs, really does spoil the car, i had a look with a mate and we just cant see how you would remove that inlet, i really dont get alot of spare time so was just hoping for someone with the knoweldge to lend a hand

Sounds like the idle air control valve.

I'm assuming the Corsa B Haynes manual covers the C16XE engine - if so, it will tell you in there how to remove it.

It's probably just clogged up with carbon and needs a good clean - a common problem.

can't you get to the idle valve by just taking the coolant bottle off and sticking your hand down there???

Without meaning to sound obvious here, if you don't know much about your engine and no-one is willing/able to help you, you could just book your car in at a garage...
