Looking at a wide range of possible new cars, and one of these came up in the autotrader, theres not a lot of info about it, so im wondering what sort of trim and gadgets to expect with this model.
Also anyone ever driven one of these cars, any good?

think 98 would be on an S so it'd be MkIV I'm guessing.

There are some S reg mk3 Astras about believe it or not. Only seen white ones though - maybe they were ex police cars?

Yes there are mk3 S reg ones, look on Auto Trader yourself if you don't believe me!
