My current problem for insuring the car is that I have no no-claims-bonus. Most people would insure me, for a fee , on the 2.0 Corsa, but the minimum no claims for those companys is 1 year

Would motorcycle insurance no-claims-bonus be interchangable to the car at some stage down the line?

Noooo, I need an excuse to buy another motorbike

In reality, there is no way I am going to get a decent quote on the car until I have a year or so no-claims...

I know its only a technicality but doesnt the insured car have to be registered in your name? Blatently a car from a scrappy wont be in your name on the V5. I spose the insurance people wont know that though.
