Hey everyone!!!!!

How would you rate your car?

Im considering getting one when i get a new job, but wanted everyones thoughts on them.

My lil Sug has been amazing over the years so I would love to stick at least Vauxhall.

What does everyone reckon? I have read good reviews on the SRi, but i thought id ask the owners on the board.

Thanks

the 1.8 is not that slow on paper (never driven a 1.8 corsa) but driven loads of 1.8 mk5 astras and never noticed much difference but bigger car i suppose. the corsa feels cheap if you ask me, i know it generally is cheap and smaller cars are made on a budget. i am looking to get a mk4 astra gsi turbo next as love the interior, love arden blue and like the engine an box. if you can afford the 1.8 insurance its the obvious choice of corsa c. i have had two corsa c sri's and had no problems with either

I'm happy with mine. For the Size of the car I think its quite good build quality and ride.

It is deffinatly worth test driving the 1.2 Sxi, 1.4, and 1.8 SRi. You can also get the Sxi, and the Exclusive in 1.4, so there just as good alternatives. Later 1.2's got 80 brake rather than 75, so there'll be minimal difference between them and a 1.4.

Depending on what kinda money your looking to spend on the car, running and insuring it, then you may aswell consider all three. For the minmal extra cost though, its worth bumping up to the 1.4, but the 1.8 is quite a heffty jump in insurance cost (For me anyway, 600 for the 1.4 upto 900 for a 1.8! sxi is about 525).

Only niggles ive got with mine is that it really needs a longer ration box, or a sixth gear, cause its quite noisy on the motorway, but its not too bad.

I'd go for the 1.7CDTi SRi, just look at the torque
