im having serious problems with windows xp home edition. when i start up i get the messages C:/windows/system32/shsvcs.dll is not a valid windows image and the same message comes up but with sfc_ds.dll. on the top of the box it says winlogon.exe bad image. also the start menu bar has change and looks different and all the quick launch icons and the time have disapeared. i keep getting problems with windows explorer too. it crashes when i right click on a folder or when i try to open a mp3 file.

any ideas?

thanks
