Oooopps, was it this sunday by any chance???
And did you notice a red Civic Type R with the Reg plate VL000NY behind me??
Was heading Go-Karting and the M1 was at a standstill... the a5 is fun!!
Matey in the Civic Type R couldnt get past for a good 15-20 miles, it was only when we got to a loooooong stretch of dual carriageway and went well into triple figures that he got the better of me, but lucky he did get in front because as we came into Milton Keynes the poor fella got a speeding ticket whilst I was right behind him, 42mph in a 30 limit...
Im so glad he made it past even if it did take him the whole of the a5!

I didnt see the Civic - lol i was to busy watching the GTE 
The Cav is fine really - just where the head gasket went before i bought it the old owner did not replace any of the water hoses - obviously oil is eating the pipes away so ive just bought a complete new set.
Thanks for the offer - i have a good mate who works at the tech centre in luton and my uncle works at toddington so parts are uber cheap

are you still getting sludge coming through? You think it got driven much with the fooberd gasket?
Keep at it fella, it feels great when everything comes right again, and just taking her out for a drive afterwards will be all the inspiration/motivation you could ever need!
I was seriously debating P/X'ing my 16v'er for a Champion edition with a 20LET... fella over on Mig was offering it for sale or P/X
But then I realised I have got the car exactly how I wanted it, so why get rid now? I have already poured too much money at it so might as well enjoy

No slugge any more its all gone - but once money is sorted ive arranged with V-Tuning to have some bits done
I think it wasnt driven at all thats the problem - it was standing for a long time.
Keep yours chap - you know it etc.. Champs are nice dont get me right but i a clean white GTE16v still does it for me!

Vauxhall themselves have just bought one - they never kept one for them when they made them.
24,000 totally oringial and mint - £4,000 they gave the guy for it!

I dont fella, I work for the council - probably worse than working for Vauxhall!!
But I do seem to spend half my life at Northern Motors in Watford. I have a mate who has worked there for around 8 years... since he left school anyway!!!
