guy at work might be selling his one it revs to 10k 
could rev harder but distributer cant take more 
this is the early 1.3 will see him in fortnight if still got it

tried looking at swift gti's they only 1.3i and group 11 inurance, faster than the 106 rallye standard 0-60 on them is 8 secs odd, not to every ones taste though love mine though, was only £600 quid and is mint.

lol, they are strong engines....i think! would prefer the 1.6 8v, but have to see how money goes.
