Yeah true enough. Vaughns was higher IIRC.

Well if I was a bolwer I'd rather have 3 or more chances to get someone out than just the 1.

Bowl straight at stumps = LBW, BOWLED, CAUGHT if they defend badly, HIT WICKET.

Bowl outside the line of off-stump = CAUGHT if your very very very lucky.

Common sense rules everytime I'm afraid, bowling outside should be used under 'normal' circumstances.
