Need to remove dials. Removed the plastic around it and undone the 2 screws either side of the dials. Pulled at it but it feels like its attached behind the dials somewhere.

Anyone know if there is anything else I need to undo?

Cheers

Just unscrew the speedo cable from the gearbox and pul;l the dials out gently. The will free up plenty of room.

theres a black plastic clip at the base of the speedo IIRC. Push it down they should come out, if not you should see where the speedo cable goes into the top of the gearbox.

On the gearbox oddly enough...

Look for a cable coming out of your gearbox and going towards the inside of the car - that's the speedo cable...,

Sod taking it out of the gear box.

Put your hands behind the clocks, and feel for a metal lip on where the cable goes into the clocks. Push that in towards the back of the clocks, you will hear it click and then just pull it off
