Ok I run a fairly small football forum and this lad signed up and started posting utter crap about how he has just decided to support Newcastle one morning and is keen to get to know more. All he does ispost crap and useless opinions which are just getting everyones backs up. Now I have just found out that the lad is disabled and unfortunatly isnt all there (not sure of the technical term). My problem is that I dont want to single him out for being disabled but Im receiving messages by the dozen for him to be banned
Any advice would be great

I think if hes posting crap you're ok to take action. In terms of equality, he has just as much chance of being banned as a "normal" person. If such a member posted the same stuff as him, what would you do then?

The thing is, if he knows no better it's not his fault... you are providing a service and should deal with him with a bit of tact...
surley you can just make these members that are complaining aware of the facts surrounding this member and ask them to either ignore him or help him as much as they can.
It's not fair to ban a member for those reasons.
