there are differences, but they are great engines, not the cheapest to repair, easily tuned and on the whole, reliable too.

Whicker s**t!

2.5K for something that looked like a whore's purse with wheels and had important bits of it flapping about in the breeze, you had a lucky escape

Now owned more deservedly by the kind of complete dickweed/cockmaster who has earned such a piece of sh*t with his wankerish behaviour

Here's hoping the lying cock writes it off, (or vise versa) and he ends up back in his gay Postman Pat van

Afraid not Rob, was hoping to meet you mate; and hopefully get in on some of this 'baby selling' action that you must surely be into in order to afford 24 large on a Golf

James was telling me about the deal you struck - he foolishly told me the 24K price first (so I was already reeling), he then raved about the deal, and when I asked him the final price and he responded 24 grand again, I paused angrily and nearly needed to slap him Terrance and Philip versus Brooke Shields style.

''Jim, I fail to see how 24 grand is a particularly effective discount of 24 grand. Explain yourself or I will have to hurt you.''

Naturally he went into detail and explained the other bits and bobs and that it would have been dearer than that - so thankfully, I did not need to punish him

I had no idea that they could get that dear, I thought that 20K was about the mark and I thought that was extortionate - I try not to spend more than about a fiver on my daily driver so 20K+ is unthinkable to me.

Anyway, good work fella and I hope she is everything that you're hoping for, and you don't have to wait too long

James nearly purchased a complete pooper that I dubbed Whicker sh*t, and very luckily didn't because it is a total shed, but now thankfully resides in the ownership of a complete wanker who we all hated and who has now left - along with his sh*t car

Oh, and he is 6 foot 5, and used to drive a bright red one litre Lupo, so looked like a gangly paedophile in one of those little 10p a ride Postman Pat vans you see outside paper shops

27K! DAMN!

Those Wolfsburg boy's pricing department are obviously begging for a UK Terrence and Philip contingent to go on a slapping spree in Germany until they get their profit margins a bit more realistic

Incidentally, I have decided that DSG must stand for Dog Sh*t Gearbox - and Mike (our foreman and supertech, yes he has a cape and outside pants) agrees with me on this one, and if you cut him in half it says VW right down the middle; so he would not normally agree with a negative comment about his beloved brand -
it truly is the worst automotive invention i've ever come across (apart obviously from the turbo whistler and pretend fake electric dump valve noise making machine and all flamer kits and spinners), it makes gear changing feel like you're being driven by a drunken octogenarian with gout.

And best of all, when you are trying to reverse up a slight incline to park near a wall and you're tickling the throttle to get it closer, when you take your foot off the throttle to brake, the car will do one of two interesting things.
It will either roll back down the hill about three inches, or, smash gracefully into the wall.

Nice.

Hardly a worthy extra cost option me thinks

Indeed, there are some strange ones on Makivvies as Mike (supertech/foreman/new beetle owner) would call it...

Don't they come standard wih the K03's? Like the A3 etc?

So you are putting a standard Turbo back on? Why not go to the K04 or an uprated?

So what's the difference? As the K03s are exactly the same on the Audi.

Nope they come standard with kO3 turbo's. I would go for the k04 turbo conversion but thats even more money, if i had the money i would go for ihi upgrade.
