how do u tell from the 90bhp and the 100bhp versions?

Thi smay be completely wrong but someone told me it was the colour of the "i" in TDi

its not all about the 'i'

pre 2002 (iirc) you had the rotary pump diesels making 90 and 115
post 2002 you had:
1 red 'i' = 100bhp
red 'TI' = 130bhp
red 'TDI' or a GT'red'I' = 150bhp

never had a red TDi
Someone at work has the 150 bhp and it has the DI in red
150 bhp are apparently 3mm wider than standard cars not that you will notice that

the 150 bhp one hass GTT (silver) DI (red) .. all one word so it looks like GTTDI

both my mates have TDi S . One is 90 bhp, other states his is 100 :s
