i think a drive to scotland would be a bit to far for the hilux!!
tempting but would cost as much in diesel to get there and back as to buy 1!!

I'd be towing with a 2.5 TD Discovery I expect. Cant be arsed with hiring, too much hassle. Think i'd be better off buying used, lose too much money new!

Something like a twin axle jobbie with long-ish ramps and tilt mech to get the corsa on easily and decent electrics.

Dunno what else to look for

we made ours in about 2 days and cost about £300,

often gets commented on how good it is, removable tyre rack, holds a snap ontool chest, will carry a toyota hilux on the back and wide enough for the ultima!!

ifor williams, brian james, wessex, all good makes, i suggest you buy the yellow paper whatever its called your way!!

or farmers guide as lots in there for sale

for a single car trailer with tiltin platform expect to pay about 1k for a good one,
needs to be a braked unit with twin axle or you wont be able tow much at all!

3/4 of the cars weight with a braked unit!!
