Is anyone (21 or under) insured to drive other cars 3rd party? If so, which companies are you with?

there was an article recently in auto express exposing a loophole regarding policies which allow party party cover on any vehicle. basically people buying a shitter, taking out fully comp insurance on that car then driving a ferrari covered third party.

the problem is the other car has to show up as been insured so u would have to get someone two insure the sports car aswell or it can be towed away as having no insurance

The idea is..
Get your dad to insure for example a scooby, with his full no claims prolly £400ish TPFT. You can pay this.
Then you insure some poo fiat panda for £300 Full comp or whatever.
Now you're insured on a scooby for £700, rather than £3000

I'm with a company called Quinn Direct Insurance and I'm covered for any car 3rd party. I'm 19. It's something they call Third party extra, doesn't cost extra.
